First blog post
16.09.2025

Hello! This is my first post! I'm excited and scared at the same time!

On my site, I have a writing section with a diary, a microblog, and a blog. When I set it up, I really thought it was a good idea to keep things well organized, until I realized how much friction there is in writing in pure HTML.

And I'm dyslexic with ADHD, so all those extra steps have made it so that almost every part of the website is growing, except the blog.
And the blog was the reason that I dived into the IndieWeb in the first place.

So I found Pagecord: writing blog posts by just sending an email. Easy! I can even add tags too!

I can have fun coding colorful things for my VERY PINK website, and write posts with ease on my blog.
And the funny thing is that I already bought a blog domain that I can use this way.
My neurodivergent mind seems at peace now!

Life update

What's going on in my life right now?
Moving around is still very difficult, but the pain is slowly receding.

Twelve days ago, I had knee surgery due to an injury at work – well, two injuries – and now I have a new ACL made from other parts of my leg.

It's not a big thing, I know, but I've never experienced pain at this level. The first day was excruciating. Now it's better.
I still cannot walk or stand without crutches, but at least now I can stand for a little longer.
I can do little things around the house and I can care for my pets.

Paco, my parrot, has started his medication for self-inflicted feather plucking, and next month we will start behavioral therapy to understand and possibly fix what is stressing him. So I have had a lot of thoughts lately about autonomy, all the things we take for granted, the need to be more humble, to learn how to fix my mistakes, take a step back, and reevaluate the road to take.
Many projects that I made before my injuries are still on hold. I need to work on my health – truly work on my health.
